What peripherals are available >and how does one interface RS232 to it? Veering away from the original topic: This is not a good sign. I've been interested in the Portfolio ever since I heard that Atari sold a development kit that included a Portfolio emulator for PCs. (Supposedly, most PC compilers work with it.) But the above horror story (how serious can the store or its supplier be about a product if they don't even know about, never mind stock, its accessories?), and the invisibility of Atari's marketing efforts make me wonder if this product is going anywhere. Too bad, the world was just about ready for an MS-DOS machine with no moving parts.... -- ergo@netcom.uucp Isaac Rabinovitch atina!pyramid!apple!netcom!ergo Silicon Valley, CA uunet!mimsy!ames!claris!netcom!ergo Disclaimer: I am what I am, and that's all what I am!
