It is bundled with MAcKNOWLEDGE software. Aside from the fact that it's name looks like a typo, I was not too impressed with its features. In particular, it does not know Kermit, Y/Zmodem protocols. It seems to do most other things, though I haven't tried creating scripts or anything advanced... not too thrilled with the user-interface. Is it worth spending the money to get White Knight? Any other good programs out there? I'd prefer to hear from someone who has compared more than one. What I would find useful: scripting- on a simple level, to automate & reduce connect time more file-transfer protocols supported more control (how do I send control-chars via MAcKNOWLEDGE??) inexpensive- I'm not going to be using it constantly, which is why when I DO use it it shouldn't be a hassle scripts to speed up navigation through Compuserve and other bbs are nice Objectively, MAcKNOWLEDGE has many of these. Is this considered to be good communications software? Am I wasting my time looking for something much better? It would be cheaper to stick with it, since I have it already. But I am interested in what's out there, and I will summarize any responses, if there is interest.
