I can't give you a generic answer, but I run a Mac IIfx with System 6.0.5, and MacWrite 5.0 has given me no trouble. I don't use it extensively, but it seems fine for everyday tasks like reading someone's memo, or writing a few pages of documentation. > The situation: We've got a lab full of Mac SE's still running 6.0.2, with > a few copies of MacWrite 5.0 available on the file server. If it doesn't work, either restore the machines to 6.0.2, or think about MacWrite II. (Or perhaps WriteNow - I think it will read MacWrite files.) ========================================================================== Rick Holzgrafe | {sun, voder, nsc, mtxinu, dual}!apple!rmh Software Engineer | AppleLink HOLZGRAFE1 rmh@apple.com Apple Computer, Inc. | "All opinions expressed are mine, and do 20525 Mariani Ave. MS: 3-PK | not necessarily represent those of my Cupertino, CA 95014 | employer, Apple Computer Inc."
