I can't give you a generic answer, but I run a Mac IIfx with System 6.0.5, 
and MacWrite 5.0 has given me no trouble. I don't use it extensively, but 
it seems fine for everyday tasks like reading someone's memo, or writing a 
few pages of documentation.

Probably not. I suggest trying it out on one or two of your machines. If 
it doesn't work, either restore the machines to 6.0.2, or think about 
MacWrite II. (Or perhaps WriteNow - I think it will read MacWrite files.)
