I have just received the Nisus 3.0 upgrade.  It is possible
to assign a function to a sequence of 1-3 command-key
combinations.  But, as far as I can tell, the command-key
has to be part of the combination.  So, for example, you
could assign forward-word to the sequence:
	<command>-<escape>, <command>-F
but not to the sequence:
	<escape>, F
Alternatively, you could use a single combination of 3 keys:
	<option>-<command>-F

As far as I can see, if you want to come close to using
	<control>-X, <control>-S
to save a file, you need to add the command key to the
combination:
	<command>-<control>-X, <command>-<control>-S

If there is a way to use combinations that do not contain
<command> in them, I would be grateful to hear about it.
