I'll explain it again: Word 3 allowed one to set up an A4 page, say, and then reduce it by 50% to give an A5 page, albeit not sideways (but on an imagesetter you can get other than US letter/A4 page sizes). In word 4 if you tell it to reduce to 50% it acts as if all of your text is reduced by 50%, without changing the printing area!
