Lines: 15 If your files are heavy in color (more than 256) you might have a problem. Suppose you have 256+ colors on a 8-bit video card, then you might need some color that could not be inserted into the color table and therefore a close color is chosen. Presentation programs and output programs need to more work to get the colors to be what the user and chosen. Each time a window is activated the color table that it needs, needs to be applied.
