Instead of the standard user definable keys, it gives you multiple choices of the same really, obtuse keyboard arrangements. If it were not for the PD Gauntlet editor, the game would have no initial variations. The game moves unbelievably slow on a MacPlus and does not take advantage of the color of the MacII. Finally, but most importantly, the game play is nothing like the excitement of playing the arcade version (which I loved as a k id). I've played the Atari ST version and it also was bad, except the colors were there. If you want D&D action, buy Pool of Radiance: you get the adventuring feel and the miniatures/arcade combat look.
