When you _buy_ the program, it comes with two disks. One contains a color version and the other a B&W. The color version runs quite well on large monitors as well as the "normal" macII mons. I believe that it only uses 16 colors, but I can't remember. Nevertheless, given the rather scarce offering of color games available at this time, I think Gauntlet is a winner.
