There has been quite a bit of dicussion recently on HP DeskWriters.
I just got one a couple weeks ago and am very pleased with it's
print quality, compatibility, and speed.  And I got a fair deal...

The deal: Used ("slightly") DeskWriters that had been part of some
internal HP demo program. These are the older version with no
Appletalk interface, but otherwise current. Comes with 90-day
warranty from Utilitools. Several dozen available. $550.

Call UtiliTools, 800-688-5554, and tell him Jon sent you and you'll
get an even better deal than I got (I paid $600 shortly before HP
announced their price drop from $1200 to $1000 retail).
