This isn't exactly cosmetically apealing, but you could try tapeing an index card over the disk drive slot, so that the tape acts as a hinge. Just lift the card when you need to insert a disk. Alternately, some of the security devices that allow you to lock up your disk drive may also be able to keep dust out. -Reed
