We hooked each one to a step-down (220-110) transformer. The frequency difference didn't bother them at all. (After rummaging around the offices here, I found that a LW II can handle 50-60 Hz, while a LW Plus is 60 Hz only. We had II's, so all bets are off on the Plus). The transformers were *big* and *heavy*. You have to find one that can handle the power demand of the laserwriter (Power = Volts * Amps). Remember to round _up_. A bit large is OK, a bit small may lead to disaster. Check the label on the back. -Drew
