  Judging from the fact that a beta version of System 6.0.6 showed up on
AppleLink today, it is very likely that the "Low Cost" Macs will be with us
within a couple of weeks.  System 6.0.3 beta arrived just a few weeks before
the IIcx, so I suspect the time frame is the same.

  Soon, it seems, we will find out what "Low Cost" means to the overpaid
upper-level management at Apple. :-)
