Message-ID: Date: 22 Aug 90 18:18:56 GMT Organization: Humanities and Social Sciences, Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, PA Lines: 17 I just got a copy of eXodus last week and I must say it's been real dissapointing. Has anyone had a good experience ? It seems really buggy. We got the old manual and had to call for a new one. It does a bad job with DECwindows (over TSS/DEC net). It won't use the remote host fonts for X or DECwindows. It looses memory like a crazy. It looks like 16K every time your client even tries to open a connection. Has anyone used MacX or LANworks ? I hope it's better. These White Pine products are terrible. They don't conform to interface guide lines and they crash A LOT. ============================================================================= |Matt Mashyna | "That is the most obscene abomination of a song... | |mm5l@andrew.cmu.edu | that is dirt, that is filth, that is trash.
