mouse, i'm convinced your intentions are good but ... i don't think it
is a wise thing to get in the middle of the disinfectant distribution.
it is available by ftp (and other means) from known (reputable) sources.

perhaps this is colored by my personal experience with your "giffer 1.08"
posts.  i was never able to get the original or subsequent archives to
unpack (including GIFFER_108.HQX the self-extracting compactor version
posted wednesday, i believe).

i hope you accept this as constructive criticism, i'm not trying to
flame you.
