Message-ID: <33032@cup.portal.com> Date: 21 Aug 90 00:04:57 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: The Portal System (TM) Lines: 15 I am posting this for a friend. I will forward all responses to him. Thank you all for your anticipated help in this matter. ===== I used the Apple HD Backup utility to backup my SE hard drive. The backups used fifteen 800K floppies to do my hard disk. Unbeknown to me I had used a couple of "boarderline" floppy disks that had "questionable" integrity on the recording media. At any rate, you can probably guess what has happened. I have lost the first two disks of my backup set (grrr...) Do any of you know how I can recover the files on the remaining backup disks? I realize that I can copy all the files off of the floppies, but my folder hierarchy will not exist (I can't recover it at all!!!). Is there a way for me to fool HD Backup into restoring the remaining backup disks to my hard disk? Thank you all for any help you can give me.
