Don't feel bad. My "Toby Frame Buffer Card" does indeed scale to 706*512 or whatever, but then my nearby AM radio goes haywire. I suspect that the Apple Monitor is generating a lot of potentially harmful radiation when the screen is enlarged by MaxApplZoom. Don W.
