Yes I have one of those Apple Quantum drives...80 Mb. Yes, I have heard of the problem with the drives...but I never had "the problem"...until now. My disk drive will not show up. When booting from the aledged hard drive, I simply get the old question mark blink. :-{ When booting from a floppy, I get only the floppy info. OK. No, not everything was backed up. I have not heard the discussions about the fix for the drive. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is there a fix? We have a tech shop on campus, but they are a little s..l..o..w at getting to everyone. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Somebody just give me 5 minutes with my old hard disk info. I have also been experiencing what I call ghost windows on my monitor...part of the picture is there, but not all. you can choose things behind the box, and if you move the box, it takes part of the background with it. Is this related, or a different problem? I have checked everything with every virus tool I have...no bugs. Fran Holtsberry
