Keywords: Esix Message-ID: <2960@bruce.cs.monash.OZ.AU> Date: 24 Aug 90 06:26:58 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Monash Uni. Computer Science, Australia Lines: 11 Would someone familiar with Esix rev. D please explain how the 2-user version carries out its restriction. I would hope that the basis for this would be a limit (of two) on the number of different uids logged on to the system at any one time - how does this compare with reality? Any comments on the suitability of a 2-user version (rather than unlimited) for a single-user workstation? Also, have upgrades (in the past) been more expensive for the unlimited-user version compared with the 2-user one? Thanks, Andrew
