I'm having problems getting a mouse to work under SCO XENIX 2.3.2 I have a Logitech Bus Mouse, and installed it in my machine (DFI 386SX) according to the manual that came with it. I set the only jumper on the bus mouse board to interrupt 5, as suggested in the manual. I then ran 'mkdev mouse', and specified that I was using a Logitech Bus mouse. The device '/dev/mouse/bus0' was created. Following mkdev's instructions, I relinked the kernel, and re-booted the system so the new kernel would take effect. When I type 'usemouse' I am getting the following message: d_open: unable to open device ``/dev/mouse/bus0'' for read only ev_open: error attaching device usemouse: cannot open even queue(6) In /dev/mouse, there are two devices: bus0 and vpix0 They have read/write permissions for everybody. I'd like to be able to use the mouse with a couple of applications under VP/ix. I tried loading the mouse driver in the VP/ix environment, but this did not help matters. I'd appreciate any help I can get regarding this problem. Please e-mail all responses. Thank you in advance for your assistance. -- Shawn M.
