I have tried getting the "vi" termcap using tgetstr and then setting it using tputs, but I have been unable to get this method to work (for any of the other capabilities as well). If anyone cares, I am working on a SPARCstation 1 running 4.0.1, and programming in (AT&T's) C++. Any suggestions appreciated at this point.
