     I will beginning a project that will require me to write an
   interpreter and believe that Yacc and Lex may be useful.  What
   book(s) may I find most helpfull in learning Yacc and Lex ?  I
   would prefer something that gives many examples.

     How portable is Yacc and Lex ?  My hope is to write something that
   can be developed on a VAX 11/750 (Ultrix) but eventually run on a
   PC-clone (SCO Unix386).
