Lines: 16 Windows 3.0 drivers for Everex Viewpoint 678 VGA boards are available from the Everex Technical support BBS: (415) 438-4650. That's the good news. The bad news is that the 640x480x256 driver crashes our Everex Step 386 box. The 512x480x256 driver seems to work, albeit with a bug: the SetDIBitstoDevice function doesn't seem to be supported properly. Bitmaps displayed with this function by the 512x480x256 driver turn out upside-down. It's possible that the reason I couldn't get the 640x480x256 driver to work was because I had a corrupted version. (Everex tech support swears that it works) I would appreciate it if someone who gets this driver working would contact me. I NEED 256 colors, and 512x480 is ridicuously low resolution. dale wyttenbach
