Why, I hear you ask, well I've installed it here (details later) and it doesn't seem to be working properly. I like the concept and would like to see the program working to it's potential. (details here) Sun 4 SPARC running SunOS 4.0.3 and with X11 R4 and using twm. xrooms version 1.02.00 Problems - Seems to prevent movement of windows vertically, even when not bolted etc... You can move them in any other direction! - When it remembers a windows position it doesn't get it right! It places it exactly the height of the title bar lower than it was before. Questions - Are there any patches around? Or for that matter is there a more up to date version of Xrooms available? - Are there any other equivalent programs around? Any help/comments appreciated.
