Wolverton) Distribution: usa Organization: The Aerospace Corporation, El Segundo, CA Lines: 16 In using xdm with PC servers, when a PC session dies abnormally (the typical termination of a PC session) xdm doesn't seem to realize this _ever_; we have to have a sys admin restart the xdm process - a singularly non-user-friendly feature. We've tried playing with the xdm-config parameters, but to no avail. Is there a "trick"?? Our xdm host is a Convex and the PC server is Locus Xsight. Tnx for any advice. --- ctw -- *** Charles T.
