Yeah, if you have an RS6K, look in /lib/libtermcap, you'll notice
that there is a termcap.src there which contains a def for 
aixterm (why can't IBM be normal just once?) anyway, an aixterm
is just like an hft - don't ask. 

Why use aixterm? The real R4 xterm is easy to make run, use the
real thing and avoid all the problems.
