Hello,

	We are in the process of trying to convince our workstation
users to switch from SunView to X11.  The benefits of X11 are clear and
most people find the transition pretty smooth.  One question that has
arisen though, is that under SunView the keyboard auto-repeat timing (ie
the time you must hold a key down before it starts to auto-repeat) is kind
of slow (maybe 1/2 second).  In X, this timing is much faster and some
users find themselves making many more typos because of this.  Is there
any way a non-programmer can modify this timing??  With "xset" you can
turn it off, but they like to have the auto-repeat feature, just with a
longer threshhold...
