We are currently working on a X11 IBM3179 emulator. It's
not ready for release yet; I guess it will be late fall until
we're confident with it.

It does display some nice SAS and APL graphics demos already.
We still have to finish the graphics emulation and work on
text I/O preformance.

Btw: we're looking for IBM-3270 style screen fonts; we only have one
size so far, also no APL font. I do know about the pre-R4 X11 Apl fonts,
but they're not the size we need. I'm thinking about using Metafont, apl.mf
and the Dirk Grunwald's gf->bdf conversion program from the SeeTex
distribution. But that would'nt help us for the plain (ebcdic) screen font.
any ideas?
