The system is a runs a BSD 4.3 Unix. I am trying to bring up nntp.1.5.9 to replace nntp.1.5.7 that I currently run OK. The problem I am having is that the nntpd server is not processing the batches after saving them into news/in.comming/nnnnnnnnn. In other words, the nntp.nnnnnn files are changed into nnnnnnnnn files that never leave in.comming. If I switch back to the nntpd (1.5.7), they are processed. Here is the syslog messages from nntpd version 1.5.9: Aug 24 15:28:23 localhost nntpd[19935]: petunia.calpoly.edu ihave_stats accepted 1 rejected 0 failed 0 Aug 24 15:28:23 localhost nntpd[19935]: petunia.calpoly.edu times user 0.6 syste m 0.6 elapsed 5.8 Aug 24 15:29:00 localhost nntpd[19877]: enqueue returned exit status 01 Any help would be appreciated. I assume the "enqueue" exit status means something can't be found, but what? I have compared the conf.h files and don't see anything obvious. -- Ron Nash San Diego State University Internet: nash@ucselx.sdsu.edu UUCP: ucsd!sdsu!ucselx!nash
