At least then I wouldn't have to put up with insulting remarks from rabid birders who think keeping parakeets and canaries is offensive. I personally LIKE birds, I keep a full feeder in my yard and get many hours of enjoyment out of watching the hummers come during the summer and the others come all winter. I am, however, not the least interested in keeping a list of the different birds I have seen but I do keep a bird guide handy for identification purposes. I also donate quite a few hours of service to the local Outdoor Education and Raptor Rehabilitation Center. So, please, you ones out there who have written me flames about *invading* your SACRED rec.birds with, quote, "drivel' about cage birds, LEAVE ME ALONE!!
