Personal knowledge or info on sources welcome. I know a bit about electrostatic speakers. Is the mic the same? Seems unlikely, especially for the electronics. One question regards suspension -- a coated mylar diaphram of large size (speaker) is more flexible than a small one (mic). I am interested in building large, single diaphram figure eight pattern mics. BTW, was there someone on rec.audio involved with dummy head mic setups? bill S. bill@verdix.com
