Archive-number: 2409 With the kinder, gentler America, Vermont looks like it will be losing two thirds of its educational AIDS funding, from $600K to $200K, presumably to concentrate the money in places with active cases, instead of places where education could completely prevent the spread. It also looks like the CDC may be tying funding to having mandatory reporting of names to do contact tracing with, which is causing a big row in our Dept of Health, which is pretty anti-reporting.
