Hi y'all,

   I'm teaching an course on the design and implementation of business
information systems this fall, and have been provided with Borland's
Paradox RDBMS as the vehicle for student implementation projects.

   Borland will not allow us to photocopy their instructional materials or
manuals, so we would like your recommendations on third party books that
won't cost "too much", but will provide a reasonable tutorial and a good,
thoroughly indexed reference section.  Please indicate title, author,
publisher, year, price, number of pages, ratio of tutorial to reference,
and other useful comments.
