The nicest thing about it is that it never has to sit in a base. It comes with two batteries. One charges while the other is in the phone. The battery life is as claimed, amazingly enough. I am very impressed with the unit. Whats even *MORE* amazing is that the battery is smaller *AND* lighter that a regular nine-volt. The wonders of modern technology...
