Has anyone used the active regions of Allegro Common Windows to implement
a version of CHOOSE-VARIABLE-VALUES (as seen on lisp machines)?

BTW, many thanks to the CMU hackers for DEFSYSTEM, logical pathnames, and
the GNU/Lisp interface.  They greatly ease the pain of leaving a LISP
machine for a more standard platform.
