I'm quite keen to learn PERL.  My second impression reading through the
documentation provided with the MSDOS port is that it really helps if
you're already familiar with C and UNIX (as luck would have it, my
experience is with fortran and VMS) (my first impression was that PERL is
as good as I've heard it is).  I gather this group has no Frequently Asked
Questions yet.  Can anyone suggest reading material to come up to speed
with PERL?
