I've talked to Don Lancaster several times; he was
most helpful.  He *is* highly opinionated.

I also have one of his books which are reprints of
his old computer shopper columns. I found them great 
for Postscript ideas and DIY items such as recharging
laserjet toner carts and mini-publishing.
