All those WP files that I encripted thinking they were safe (even WPCorp said *they* coundn't decrypt them) are now easiy read by anybody, especially when the decryption programs start appearing in the marketplace. Now I'll just have to use a separate program to do the encrypting. BTW, there has always been a problem when editing encrypted files with the timed-backup option turned on. The backup files are not encrypted. The fact that the file is deleted when WP exits normally doesn't matter because there are plenty of unerase programs around.
