I don't know a thing about share.exe, having used Compaq DOS 3.31 for
the past 2 1/2 years.

However, did you know you can load things high in your config.sys?
An example would be:

device=c:\etc\qemm\loadhi.sys c:\dos\share.exe

Or the equivalent on your machine.
