Lines: 14 The article "A Shortcut Between Directories" by Ken Hipple in the June 1988 issue of PCResource magazine has a perfect example of how to locate the master copy of the environment. Unfortunately, this method (of searching the memory control blocks) does not seem to find the environment in DOS version 4.x. Does anyone know of a method to locate the environment that does not depend on the DOS version? I suppose DOS 3.x and above would be more than sufficient for most people.
