I'm trying to write a program to install a device driver at run time,
and need to find out what needs to be done to make DOS recognize it.

Simply linking the driver into the driver chain is only the first step:
other DOS structures apparently need to be modified.  I've also added 
a device control block entry, but DOS still won't open the driver.

Other programs (for example, the Netware shell) are able to install
drivers successfully, so there must be a solution.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions that might help.
