I think this fucntion may be done by a terminal server, but I look at it as a router. I have several remote hosts that can talk SLIP. I want to bring those SLIP connections into one place, via RS-232 or equivalent, and be able to converse with a device which does not support multiple SLIP interfaces, but which does support TCP/IP via an Ethernet interface. So I envision a device with SLIP interface ports on one side and Ethernet on the other. It should be able to bridge/route (?) between the SLIP devices and Ethernet device. Please send replies to me directly. fstop@mtunf.att.com Thanks. Paul Hanson AT&T Bell Labs West Long Branch, NJ (201) 870-7559
