I chose it over the DeskJet+ because I thought I might need/want PostScript compatibility in the future. But I have some questions for anyone else using this printer on their Amiga: What software do you usually use with it for word processing or desktop publishing? I have ProWrite 3.0 and ProPage 1.31 and have tried both in an effort to get 300 dpi printouts with this printer, with little success thus far. ProPage ran the printer out of memory very quickly, and ProWrite never seemed to give better than 72 dpi resolution even when set for higher. Do you recommend getting the PostScript cartridge? What is a good price to pay for it? Do you recommend getting more memory? Again, what is a good price to pay for the board? I know you need 2 megs minimum for PostScript, but do you recommend more? So far the LaserJet printer driver supplied with 1.3 is doing the job, but, as with the DeskJet+, might there be a better one out there? If so, where do I get it? Thanks in advance. I know these are a lot of questions, but my dealer from whom I purchased it only knows IBM, and the HP manual also only refers to IBM.
