I know that there are a few different drive types and lots of different manufacturers. I don't know what kinds of drives need which kinds of interfaces and which software drivers. I've recently been seeing quite a few used hard drives for sale fairly cheaply. I would like to pick one up, but I'm afraid of getting one that is only useable from a PCjr or something. I also don't know what software is runnable from which types of hard drives. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Jay Hoeflinger hoefling@uicsrdsp1.csrd.uiuc.edu
