This is (for the most RA> part) a serious question. Heck, if you find one, I want to know where you got at (and what mind_reading electronics/psitronics you are using! No. I purchased Fleet Check, and regretted it immensely. The program does work, in a fashion, but if you start doing anything fancy (like using cursor keys instead of backspacing) it gets upset. I purchased it to try and avoid being embarrassed with my invariably typo's. I use Cygnus Ed Pro [great editor!], and use it to create my missives on my A2500/20. Using Fleetcheck, I was able to wipe out lots of spelling errors, that I hadn't noticed I was making. The dictionary was pretty well alright [even though it was American! :-)], but needed to be educated in the jargon of networkland. After it 'software failured' for the third time in a night, I refused to activate it (although it still sits there, waiting for activation). It doesn't seem to have been upgraded since it was first put out in December 1987. The guessing algorythm is worse than useless. The 'window' oriented approach to spell checking is awful, and there is no way to 'scroll' through a list of possibilities for spelling a particular word - it shows eight guesses, and thats it! It did help to curtail my woeful spelling, but not enough to warrant the reset that was required if I used cursor movement keys instead of just typing and backspacing. If you find a product that does this, please leave a message in this newsgroup. _l _ _ Andrew Clayton. I post . (_](_l(_ Canberra. Australia. . . I am.
