Ok, so I have my brand new favorite term prgram (VLT 4.824) and I am looking
through and say "HEY! Let's play with AREXX!" ....

So I do , I fire it up and all I want to do is ..

send a string to the serial port.
Get all characters comming in in response up to a specified char.
exit.

BUT THERE IS NO WAY FOR A AREXX PROGRAM TO GET CHARS FROM VLT ONE-AT-A-TIME.

"wedge" is useless for this purpose BTW as documented.

Help!
