In particular, if I have a series of string gadgets and some of them should have default values depending on what the user enters for the first gadget how do I do this?? If the user enters the input and presses I get a message and can process the input, but if the user switches gadgets using the mouse I won't know about it and can't perform the proper processing. In an attempt to overcome this I started grabbing more events - mouseclicks helped a lot, window activation/deactivation wasn't bad. However, I am still not catching events such as the window depth gadgets or the drag bar. What I want to do (I think) is catch every event which deactivates the string gadget I am in... If you can help please mail any information to me. Thank you much! ______________________________________________________________________ / Rockford Lhotka INCSTAR Corp \ | Systems Administrator PO Box 285 | | incstar!lhotka@rosevax.rosemount.com 1990 Industrial Blvd | \ 612/779-1701 Stillwater, MN 55082 / ----------------------------------------------------------------------
