I am looking for an Apple II system for a 4th grader. He uses Apple IIs at
school now and I would like to get him one for home. However, I don't
have any idea what is a reasonable price to pay or even what is a good
system to buy (Apple II+,IIc,IIe ???). I am new to Apple (am very familiar
with PCs generally) and need some advice.

Are there used Apple II outlets ?

Are their listings for used Apple equipment that I could use to get a feel 
for market prices ?

What is a good system for a 4th grader (~ $500 )?
