I have recently noticed that almost every time I enter a dialog in GS/OS
(i.e. from GS Shrinkit, ShowPic NDA, GIFConvert, most PD stuff) I get an
extra partition listed.  I have four partitions: the first two mapped to
s7,d1 and d2; the other two are mapped to s1,d1 and d2 using SCSI Partition.
When I enter the dialog, the Volume (Disk?) displayed is my third partition,
/STUFF (in all CAPS).  If I click the Disk button, I get my normal third
partition, /Stuff.  All subsequent changes of volume are correct (until you
bring up another dialog box).  I have a sneaking feeling that SCSI Partition
is to blame for this, as I don't remember this happening before I installed
it.  I'll remove it and see what happens.  

Another strange thing that is more annoying is the contents of the volumes
that are displayed.  Every once in a while, I get a directory listing that
has multiple (say, 10-20) copies of a select file or folder listed, and 
most or all other entries are ignored.  If I close that folder and re-open
it (or scan Volumes back around if it's the root) everything is cool.  
Nothing is noticeably wrong, just very annoying and time-consuming.

Are these two problems related?  Most of these problems occured with 
Shareware/Freeware programs.  AppleWorks GS has neither of these problems.
Is this relevant?  I realize that AppleWorks GS had much more effort put
into its creation and functionality (no offense to all you s/w programmers :)
but it might just have a little better error handling and such.

Has anyone else had these problems?  Anyone else using SCSI Partition with
GS/OS?  I would hate to abandon SCSI Partition just because of these quirks;
ghost slots are just soooooo handy.
