When I boot the machine with Video Bios shadowing turned on, the hard disk is not reconized. If I turn video shadowing off, the system works like a champ. I swapped the vga card with a different manufacturer, the scsi adapter, and pulled all the other controllers off the bus, but nothing helped. The only component I haven't swapped is the system board. If I install a ST506 type drive, I don't have this problem either. I tryed restrapping the ST02 adapter for a different BIOS address, no help either. I am trying to determine if this is a compatibility problem with the SX, or just a bad system board. Does anyone have this same configuration that doesn't experience this problem.
