Everything was working fine when I was using the original Everex hard drive controller . I replaced it with a Western Digital 1006-MM2 controller. Now when I turn the machine on, I get 'hard disk controller failure press F1 key to RESUME' at this point, if I hit ctrl-alt-del the machine restarts and boots from the hard drive as it should. I have reformatted the drive with the new controller. Can anyone tell me why it is doing this??? Oh, the AT BIOS is AMI. Thanks, Charles
